DataWind, known very well for budget friendly gadgets, has launched a new smartphone called ‘PocketSurfer GZ’ priced at just Rs. 14,99. Not just it is budget smartphone but also comes with absolutely free 1 Year internet connectivity. Please note, the phone is running on Linux operating system, and not Android.
Such a budget phone with 1 year free internet possibly happened because of the partnership between Datawind and Reliance Communications. The internet we getting with PocketSurfer GZ comes bundled by RCOM’s service offerings. As of now DataWind has not provided any details about the phone’s specifications but only said that it will be a touch screen phone with rear camera. We will keep you updated with its complete specifications as soon as revealed.
