Facebook keeps making the social experience better day by day. Here is yet another interesting feature added today for all Facebook users globally. Introducing ‘Reactions’. It is a set of 6 emoticons that reveals your reaction on a particular post.
Facebook was testing Reactions since over sic months with selected group of users. And finally, now they started rolling it out globally. Expressing your self has now become more funnier since you can not only Like a post but also let them known if you are angry with that particular post or if you Love that post.
To use the Facebook Reactions, on Mobile, Press and Hold the like button to see the pop up containing the Emoticons. On desktop, just hover your mouse and you see the Emoticons. It contains the new Like, Love, Laughter, Shock, Sadness and Anger.
As of now this much is what have been added. We can expect some more emoticons in future. Facebook wants to track how users are using these Reaction. On this announcement, Facebook said:
We’ve been listening to people and know that there should be more ways to easily and quickly express how something you see in News Feed makes you feel. That’s why today we are launching Reactions, an extension of the Like button, to give you more ways to share your reaction to a post in a quick and easy way.
