Asus and Google today officially launched the Chromebit for $85. It is a complete Chrome OS desktop on HDMI Stick / Dongle. Do you have any old XP computer or a unused Monitor ? Turn it into a great Chrome desktop computer in just $85.
Chromebit Dongle is powered up with Rockchip 3288 Chipset paired up with 2GB RAM and Mali 760 GPU. It has 16GB internal storage memory and supports connectivity options including Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0 and USB 2.0 port. You just need to plug in the Chromebit Stick into the HDMI Port of your Monitor or TV directly to turn it in fully working Chrome desktop computer. You can do everything that can be done on a Chromebook.
Announced back in Marsh this year, Chromebit will now go on sale in several countries including US, Australia, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Japan, New Zealand, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, and the UK. Users can buy it online from Amazon, Fry’s, and Newegg in USA.
