LG seems very fast to bring Android 7.0 Nougat taste to their users. Not only they are all set to launch LG V20 which would be the first ever smartphone to be powered with Android 7.0 but they are also bringing Nougat Update to their latest flagship LG G5. Yes, that’s correct. About 2000 LG G5 users can get Android 7.0 on their phone right away.
Usually, Google Nexus devices used to be the first one to bring the newest Android versions in the market. But this time LG wants to change the same.
LG has launched a ‘Preview Program’ on LG U+ network in Korea allowing first 2000 subscribers to test Android 7.0 Nougat on their G5. Remember, this is first-come first-served basis program which is already ON from yesterday August 16th. Users who want to get the new taste will need to download the ‘LG OS preview app’ from PlayStore on your phone. Then follow the terms and conditions and other procedure and get the Nougat Preview OS via LG PC Suite to install on your LG G5.
Since it is a Preview OS, you may face some bugs. So, choose it wisely whether or not to go for Preview program. LG will roll out the stable Android 7.0 Nougat update very soon.
