DataWind has launched three new smartphones – pocketSurfer 5X, 5 and 3G5. DataWind is known for its Aakash and UbiSlate tablet. All the three phones are dual SIM handset and have micro SD support too. the Pocket Surfer 5X is a linux based handset having a 5 inch display. This handset is processed by Single core 1GHz cortex A8 Processor. The PocketSurfer 5 has a 5inch capacitive touchscreen display. it is processed by 1Ghz cortex A9 processor and runs on android 4.0. it comes with a 2MP rear camera and a front VGA camera too. It supports connectivity through Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, EDGE, USB etc.
The pocketSurfer 3G5 has the same display size as the other two but runs on the advanced version of android 4.2. it is processed by 1.2Ghz dual core processor which makes the device fast and smooth. The main feature of this phone is that it supports 3G connectivity apart from other options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, EDGE, USB etc. it has a 5MP camera with decent photos and video capturing and a front VGA camera too.
The entire three phones have FM Radio and are priced at a low range of 4K to 7K. PocketSurfer 3G5 is the most advanced one out of the three and is priced at Rs.6500/- , PocketSurfer 5 would cost you Rs.4999 whereas PocketSurfer 5X, in black colour, would cost your near about Rs.3499/- and is available in white, blue and black colour.
