OnePlus 2 is all set to launch worldwide on July 27 and recently the CEO of OnePlus announced that Oneplus 2 will be priced under 450 USD.
Yesterday the company updated its official blog with some exciting information about its upcoming OnePlus 2. They announced that, Oneplus 2 will feature 4GB of advanced LPDDR4 RAM. LPDDR stands for Low Power Double Data Rate. According to OnePlus’ official blog the OnePlus 2’s new LPDDR4 RAM is the latest and greatest RAM available in the market, while the only rival of Oneplus 2 is Asus Zenfone 2 which is powered with LPDDR3 RAM.
LPDDR4 offers double speed of LPDDR3. It works with a speed of 32 GB per second. With LPDDR4 Oneplus 2 will offer fast loading time, smoother gameplay and better energy saving capability. The operating voltage of the smartphone has been decreased from 1.2v to 1.1v. This will enhance the user experience while using features which uses a lot of bandwidth.
Also it has been confirmed that OnePlus 2 will run on 64-bit Snapdragon 810 processor which will use 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM to its full potential. It will offer great speed and seamless multitasking capabilities.
