We have been waiting for this so long, isn’t it? Finally, Mark Zuckerberg announced today officially that Facebook is now working on new ‘Dislike’ button. The conformation came during the Q&A at Facebook HQ. However, it is yet not confirmed if it will be named as ‘Dislike’ and when exactly we will see it. But, it is under working for sure.
Although Facebook was getting request for this since very long, Zuckerberg now realized that it is not about downvoting, but to express empathy that everything is not always good. He gave examples like recent Syrian refugee crisis or if anyone died from the family. Such posts are not for Liking. The Dislike button will soon go on for testing purpose to see how is it working for feelings.
What they really want is the ability to express empathy. Not every moment is a good moment
