Micromax Canvas series doesn’t requires any introduction as it is the best seller devices for the Indian brand, Specially Canvas 1 to 4. Today a new member of Canvas has been spotted on the Micromax official website which is also the successor of Canvas 2, named as “Micromax Canvas 2 Colors A120”. They haven’t provided any details about its release and pricing as of now but we will update the same soon here. As the name includes “Colors”, it is the factor of colorful back covers of this new smartphone. Best part is that you get these colorful rear panels for Free along with the phone out of the box. Micromax will see the phone in two colors, i.e. White and Dark Grey color along with 3 rear panels in the box, probably.
Canvas 2 Colors A120 is a Dual SIM phone running on Android 4.2 JellyBean operating system with a 5 inch HD IPS touch screen display. The screen offers 1280 x 720 pixels which is quite good for watching HD videos and games. Micromax has powered the Canvas 2 Colors with 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor accompanied by 1GB of RAM from which we can surely expect better performance and multitasking. Canvas 2 Colors A120 comes with an 8 Megapixel rear camera having LED Flash, and a 2 Megapxiel front-facing camera for video calling.
As per storage Canvas 2 Colors has 4Gb internal memory which can be expanded upto 32GB using MicroSD card. The device seems good in connectivity supporting 3G (HSDPA: 21Mbps, HSUPA: 5.76Mbps), WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS and Bluetooth 4.0. It is running on 2000 mAh battery from which we can expect pretty good battery backup.
