Popular tipster Ice Universe has claimed that Vivo is working a smartphone that is codenamed as “The Waterdrop”. According to a series of new rumors out of China, “The Waterdrop” which will have a unique design. The tipster sharing the info says it’s guaranteed that you “have never seen a similar phone design”, noting that it’s the first time in history when a manufacturer tries something like this. What “this” is, that’s another question.

This is a step further than Samsung’s Edge Display, which gives a notion of the display fusing to the sides. There is no official date for its launch as of now. Vivo could take the center stage at the MWC 2019 to unveil the Waterdrop and provide stiff competition to Samsung’s foldable Galaxy Fold smartphone.
