Just like its other flagship devices, Samsung is planning to launch the Mini version of its latest Flagship, Galaxy S6. It is Samsung Galaxy S6 Mini. Samsung has a habit of launching the mini versions of its flagship smartphones, well such mini versions are priced at mid-ranges for people who cannot afford the high-end flagship smartphones.
Currently already there are two other variants of Galaxy S6 available in market namely “Active” and “Edge”. Samsung is also planning to launch the upgraded version named Galaxy S6 Edge Plus in the coming month. There is no official confirmation of Galaxy S6 Mini version but there are many rumours that S6 Mini will announced in August along with Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+.
As far as specifications are concerned S6 Mini will have the same specs like its high-end version but rumours on internet suggests that it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor. The RAM will be reduced to 2 GB from 3 GB and also camera will also be reduced to 12 Megapixel. It expected to have screen size of 4.6-inch which will give resolution of 720 pixels.
The leaked images of Galaxy S6 Mini clearly shows that it has the same design pattern of Metal-Glass body and bezel less screen. Also as it will the mini version we expect it to be priced near 20k to 25k. Because we don’t have any official confirmation about the subject we have to wait for some more time.
