Vivo today announced their new Flagship smartphone called ‘Vivo X6‘ that also has a bigger variant called ‘Vivo X6 Plus‘. Both the quite powerful in specifications and pretty stylish in the design with Meta body. Vivo X6 will be available in China from December 7th, while the Vivo X6 Plus will be available from December 21st in Gold, Silver and Rose Gold color options. The prices for the both the smartphones are as follows:
- Vivo X6 China Unicom Version : 2498 yuan / $390 / Rs. 26030 approximately
- Vivo X6 Standard Network Version : 2598 yuan / $406 / Rs. 27000 approximately
- Vivo X6 Plus China Unicom Version : 2998 yuan / $468 / Rs. 31,250 approximately
- Vivo X6 Plus Standard Network Version : 3198 yuan / $500 / Rs. 33,300 approximately
Both Vivo X6 and X6 Plus are running on Android 5.1 Lollipop based Funtouch OS and supports Dual Hybrid Nano SIM slots. They are powered up with 1.7 GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6752 processor coupled up with 4GB of RAM and 700 MHz Mali-T760 MP2 GPU. Pretty powerful, isn’t it? They also has a Fingerprint scanner placed nicely on the rear facing just below the rear camera for better security of your phone and data.
At the camera front, both Vivo X6 and X6 Plus have 13 Megapixel shooter at rear facing with LED Flash, f/2.2 aperture and PDAF that focus in just 0.2 seconds. While the front carries an 8 Megapixel shooter for Selfie fans. As per connectivity, the devices support 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. These were the common specs for both flagships.
Coming to the differences between Vivo X6 and X6 Plus, it is only in the screen size, storage and battery. While Vivo X6 sports a 5.2 inch Full HD Super AMOLED display with 2.5D curved glass, the X6 Plus has 5.7 inch Full HD Super AMOLED display with 2.5D curved glass. They both offer maximum resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. In the storage, we get 32GB internal memory with X6, and 64GB internal storage with X6 Plus. Both have external microSD slot for expansion. Lastly, Vivo X6 is powered on 2400mAh battery, while the X6 Plus has 3000mAh battery. Both support Fast charging.
