Recently in Brazil Lg has launched its new product (FireWeb) which runs on firefox OS. IT is the company’s first Smartphone which runs on this OS.
FireWeb has a capacitive touch screen display and has the size of 4 inch. It has processor of 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon and runs on Firefox OS 1.1 which makes it work smoothly and efficiently. FireWeb comes with 5 MP camera with LED flash for better effects for capturing pictures and it also supports VGA video recording. It has a 2GB internal memory and has a micro SD slot which supports upto 32GB. It weighs 122.50 grams and has dimensions of 113.8 * 66.5 * 9.0 mm.
The newly launched smart phone with Firefox OS has inbuilt social apps like twitter and facebook and it also has the firefox web browser for browsing purposes. There is also Firefox Marketplace available from where useful applications and games can be downloaded.
This new Fireweb smartphone for LG will be available in Telefonica (Brazil) at 449 Brazilian Real which is near 12700 INR. LG is also planning to launch its Firefox OS phones soon in different countries like Peru, Mexico and Uruguay.
