Cameras on smartphone are going through bit of revolution, just last year it was pretty cool to have two rear cameras, this year the bar was raised to three by Huawei and this is year its Samsung Galaxy A9 with 4 rear cameras. Why do we need 4 cameras? The answer is flexibility.

We’ve never used such a different and vivid setup of camera, but once you pick up the phone and get into clicking mode you know the reason behind it. When taking a photo you can use the telephoto lens’s 2x optical zoom to get closer to the subject. You can use the main camera to get clearer, bright and sharp image or you can go further back with the Ultra-wide camera which captures a pretty massive 120-degree field of view. That is something about what most people can see with human vision, images feel spacious and the landscapes are going to look great.
You can also record 4k video with the Ultra-wide camera which records footage comparable to high end action camera. This phone has got every camera mode you’ve ever seen on a Samsung phone, everything from panorama, live focus, Super slo-mo, AR emoji and more. Camera wise this is a full package.
This is not a flagship phone but still has got a 6.4-inch Super-AMOLED panel, but again it’s not comparable to Note 9. It doesn’t support wireless charging or even doesn’t have any IP certification for water or dirt resistance. Even though the camera offers more flexibility or features they aren’t of high quality. It’s also worth noting that while the A9 is made of a glass like material, it isn’t actually glass like its siblings or counterpart.
Still get a well-rounded hardware for the money, there are slick gradient color variants. Powered by middling Snapdragon 660 with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage which is expandable too, and handling all these is a sufficient 3800mAH battery. The UI feels fast but in terms of gaming this would be a way behind phones like OnePlus 6 and POCO F1.
A detailed review will be given soon, as of now there’s excitement for this phone but this is not a powerhouse and doesn’t have the best display on a 35,000 phone.
