iBall Andi Uddaan specifications, Price and Release Date

iBall has launched a new android smartphone called the AndiUddaan in its Andi series. The new smartphone is specially designed for women. The phone is given a girlish look and comes embedded with Swarovski Zirconia crystals. This phone features a 5-inch (960 x 540 pixels) capacitive touch screen IPS display and is supported by 1.3 GHz dual-core processor Cortex A7 processor. This phone runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) and has amazing UI. The icons have been designed in special way to give it a girly touch. It is a Dual SIM (GSM + GSM) with dual standby that makes it more comfortable to use.

The Andi Uddaan has designed it in such a way so as to ensure safety to women. It comes with a SOS button at the back of the handset under the camera. The button is to be pressed in case of emergency as it would send a loud siren and messages to 5 contacts that you need to set in the beginning. It lets your contacts know the location of the phone with geo codes. Along with the message it also would make a Facebook update. The phone also features geo fences to alert the pre-determined person by mail or SMS when the phone enters or exit a particular area. Apart from these exclusive features it also has an 8MP camera that gives good clicks and a 5MP front camera to enable video chatting. The 512MB RAM doesn’t seem that great. it has 4GB internal memory expandable up to 32GB. Connectivity options like 3G (HSDPA: 21 Mbps, HSUPA: 5.6 Mbps), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS an d USB OTG is available.

The iBallAndiUddaan has been priced at Rs.10,999. Pricing seems to low considering the features. It comes in Pink and White colours. iBall has offered scratch guard, a pink purse and back cover worth Rs.1199 for free.
