Micromax has launched the new Canvas Mega 2 smartphone at the price of Rs. 7,999. It is the successor of last year’s Micromax Canvas Mega. Featuring a huge 6 inch qHD IPS display with 960 x 540 pixels resolution the new Mega 2 comes out of the box running Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. It supports Dual SIM cards and is powered with 1.3 GHz Quad-Core processor accompanied by 1GB of RAM that doesn’t seems very good for such large display but still we can expect decent performance from the device.
Micromax Canvas Mega 2 sports an 8 Megapixel primary camera with Auto focus and LED flash. There is also a 5 Megapiel Selfie shooter at front facing. The phone offers 8GB internal storage memory which can be further expanded using microSD card.
