Xiomi released their new Redmi Note 7 in China recently, and is now all set to hit Indian markets too. It is priced at 999 Yuan, which is approximately about Rs. 10,500 INR. Earlier it was been speculated that the Redmi Note 7 pricing is going to be in the upper mid-range but contrast to the guess, Xiomi has launched the phone in affordable prices.
The starting price for Redmi Note 7 is 999 yuan for the 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage. While the Redmi Note 7 with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage has been priced at 1199 yuan, which is roughly Rs. 12,400. Another 6GB of variant of Redmi Note 7 is launched with 64GB of storage priced at 1399 yuan, which is roughly Rs. 14,500. It would be good for the company if they keep its pricing in that range ($150 – $200) because their biggest threat Samsung Galaxy M series is already conquering the Indian market.

As the smartphone is now officially unveiled, there is a question to ponder upon. Is Redmi Note 7 better than the Redmi Note 6 Pro? I think so because I have 5 very strong reasons that makes Note 7 better than its previous phones in Note series. Let’s find out.
Camera
Redmi Note 7 has massive 48 Megapixel rear camera with f/1.8 aperture lens. Equipped with 13 Megapixel front Selfie camera too. And if we consider the Redmi Note 6 Pro has a rear camera of 12-megapixel (f/1.9, 1.4-micron) + 5 Megapixel and front camera of 20-megapixel (f/2.0, 1.8-micron) + 2 Megapixel. Note that Redmi Note 7 has AI Assist feature as well.
Display
Redmi Note 7 has 6.3 inch Full HD+ sharp and vibrant display with aspect ratio of 19.5:9. It also has a waterdrop notch. While if we talk about Redmi Note 6 Pro, it has 6.26 inches of screen with aspect ratio of 19:9 and a resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels.
Hardware
Powered by an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC along with Adreno 512 GPU is what Redmi Note 7 hardware looks like. It is operated on Android 8.0 Oreo. While we talk about Redmi Note 6 Pro then it is configured with octa core processor.
Storage
Redmi Not 7 comes in three different variants including 3GB, 4GB, 6GB RAM with 64 GB storage each. Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro on other hand features just two variants with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage in common. The storage can be further expanded via microSD card.
Price
When the costumer is buying a smartphone, he is more concerned about the price and the price of Redmi Note 7 is 999 yuan in China which is very less than of Redmi Note 6 Pro which is 1500 yuan.
Redmi Note 6 Pro is good phone but not as good as Redmi Note 7. So, if you are thinking of buying any smartphone among these two, consider these points in mind prior to any purchase and then thank us later for providing the information.
