Xolo Play 8X 1000 will be launching soon with its new UI also known as HIVE UI. This new smartphone will be available from 6th of August this year. Xolo have also announced the Press event for the new smartphone and its new UI. As if now there is no news or no information on the specs of the smartphone but, there are some info on the screen which will be a 5 inch HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The processor for this smartphone would be an Octa-Core with 2GB of RAM.
By looking at the info on the specs we can assume this could be a powerful smartphone by Xolo. As this specs which are given above come from the rumor mills where rumours are born. Still there is no exact news on specification about the new smartphone.
HIVE UI is the new User Interface for Android KitKat for this new phone by Xolo. There are many features in this HIVE UI which would make the user to customize the UI as per their need or as per they like it to customize. There is new quick settings screen which gives circular controls for multiple different actions like for brightness control, volume controls, setting screen timeout etc. There is also a new lock screen, Media centre with last.fm integration, a totally revamped Phone book with conversations on a single contact. You can customize the themes for the UI and also would be able to change the App Drawer. There would be more features which are not yet revealed by the company.
