The 53-year-old actress admitted that sometimes the most bizarre things could turn out to be a big lesson later in life and career. While giving an interview for Total Film magazine, Salma Hayek acknowledged the following:
“Unfortunately, I never had a lot of chances to do parts where I could use a lot of the things I learned. Or you learn them, and they don’t let you.”
Then she revealed an example of a perfect lesson that helped her throughout life: “I’ve had directors say to me, ‘dumber and faster. Sound dumber and speak faster!'”
Salma then talked about her strict teacher as she says she “could never miss a class.”
“This is not a joke. You are either committed to this class, or you don’t belong here,” the teacher used to say.

Today, Salma hopes that her daughter, who is 12 years old, will follow her footsteps and became a successful woman one day.
