Step 3: To use it more effectively you have to get use to the icons on the band. So that you can tap on things instantly. Here I am going to give you a short description of each icon that will help in future.
Modifying Settings of Microsoft Band:
By tapping on the Settings tile you can make changes and customize Microsoft Band as per your need. There are ample of thins enable in the same. For example you can adjust the vibration strength, you can simply adjust the screen brightness and you can also make changes in the Heart Rate Monitor. So it is quiet wroth to explore the settings once.
Microsoft Band Watch Mode:
Microsoft Band has a watch mode where you will get ample of information related to the current date and time. When you are not using it for tracking your steps you can enable the watch mode and use it like a regular mode. It is in the Settings.
Microsoft Health App: Microsoft Band can work very well with Microsoft Health app. It is a kind of Sync Bridge between the phone and device and it can let you to get detailed reports of your activities. So this will be very easier to manage and use. There are few things that you can try out through this app.
Through Microsoft Health app you can manage the tiles that are on the main screen and you can simply set goals as per your need. Below are the steps.
- To Manage Goals just tap on the band and then tap on Manage Tile. You can adjust the icons on your tiles. For more settings tap on Edit.
- For adding a goal Tap on the shoe icon which is Steps or just tab on Calories Burned. You can modify the settings and check your progress form here.
In the same way you can also configure Guide Workout and track your workout session. Below are the steps.
- For turning on guided workout that means ready to use workout plans you have to go in the Menu and tap on Find a Workout.
- For tracking you have to sync the band with wifi or cellular data. It will allow you to get summary details of things you are doing daily.
