Back in October when WhatsApp was under deal with Facebook, the CEO Jan Koum revealed that they were working on Voice-Calling feature in world’s most popular Mobile instant messenger WhatsApp and would be delayed until Q1 2015. Couple of months later we saw a leaked screenshot of Voice Call icons in WhatsApp but today, we got a more detailed screenshots showing some more features about this feature. Have a look:
According to these screenshots from AndroidWorld.nl, we can assume that we gonna get this feature somewhere very soon. As we can see the images above, it shows you call logs. ongoing call with caller picture and other options like mute, message, etc. However, there doesn’t appear any option of voice calls on the message screen which means it will have separate screen from the main chat window. As of now there is no more info available, but we can assume to have voice calls on our whatsapp very soon.
