Earlier we reported about Xolo’s new upcoming ‘Black’ series of smartphones. Well, it is now official. Xolo has launched the first smartphone dubbed as Xolo Black. It is priced at Rs. 12,999 in India and will go on sale from coming Monday exclusively via Flipkart.
Xolo Black sports a 5.5-inch Full HD OGS display which gives resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and come with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Octa-core processor coupled with 2GB of advanced LPDDR3 RAM and it is based on 64-bit architecture. It has 16GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. It has a HIVE Atlas UI on top which is based on Android 5.0 and material design. HIVE UI has many new features like Comet Browser, Underground Mode which keeps your data secret, Reading mode and many more.
Xolo Black has revolutionary Dual rear camera, a 13 Megapixel camera and 2 Megapixel camera which is used for depth sensing. It comes with 5 Megapixel front-facing shooter with LED Flash Light. On connectivity part it supports 4G LTE/3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS + GLONASS, USB OTG. It packs a 3200mAh battery which gives an awesome standby time.
Design wise, it looks awesome as it is 7.3mm slim glass body and contains no-sharp edges. It has an oleophobic coating on the back, which helps it look clear and prevents it from stains as well as keeps it smudge free. Its design is further enhanced with the notification LED on the Power button which looks great while blinking.

The existing customers of Xolo have an advantage of getting the smartphone before other customers, but it will require them to register on Xolo.in and they will get Xolo Black on Sunday between 4pm to 8pm. Also the customers who will buy Xolo Black and uses Vodafone can get additional 1 GB of free internet data every month and enjoy unlimited music on Vodafone Music for starting two months. These offers will be automatically activated on any Vodafone SIM inserted in the phone before 31 October.
