As scheduled, CREO Mark 1 is now officially launched in India at the price of Rs. 19.999. It will be soon available from the company’s official store and Flipkart in Gun Metal Black color. CREO Mark 1 is not just good in specifications but also in software features. As stated earlier, the is running on Android based Customized Fuel OS which is promised by the company to bring a new feature every month. However, the phone is launched with some really interesting features which we haven’t seen so far in any Android or iOS or even Windows smartphones. let’s take a look.
Mark 1 comes out of the box running Android 5.1.1 Lollipop based customized Fuel OS bringing features like Lock screen Gestures, Smart inbox, Smart call Forwarding, customizable capacitive keys, and more. Specially, it has some features called Echo, Sense and Retriever.
Echo : As we heard earlier the phone will be having built-in answering machine (like voice mails), it is known as Echo. If you missed the call or just dont want to attend the call while busy, don’t worry. The caller can still leave his message and that will be stored on your phone. You dont need the service provider like in case of voice mail. Any call you want to send to Echo requires just double tap on power button, or simply swipe up the screen when the phone rings.
Sense : This is yet another very interesting stuff. Using Sense, you get fast navigation to anything in the phone in just 2 steps. Enable or disable it anytime from the gesture settings.
Retriever : This is for your phone’s security. If you lost your phone or if it is stolen, dont worry. As soon as a new sim card is inserted in your phone, the Retriever will send an email on the registered address with Sim number. And that is all done offline. No need of internet access.
Apart from these interesting features of CREO Mark 1’s Fuel OS, the company has scheduled a new Firmware update for May 13th which will bring some more interesting stuffs to the device. Some of them expected are customizable and intelligent Echo, Selfie screen flash, New Photo editor, Background data manager, and lost more.
Now talking about the hardware, CREO Mark 1 sports a 5.5 inch Quad HD (2K) display protected with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and offers 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution. It is powered with 1.95GHz Octa-Core Mediatek Helio X10 (MT6795) processor coupled up by 3GB RAM and PowerVR G6200 GPU. You surely don’t need to worry about performance or multitasking on this phone. As per camera, we get huge 21 Megapixel primary shooter with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF, Sony IMX230 sensor and f/2.0 aperture. You can record Ultra HD 4K videos as well as Full HD 1080p slow motion video at 120fps. For selfie fans, Mark 1 carries an 8 Megapixel front facing shooter with 86-degree wide-angle lens and f/2.0 aperture. It supports up to Full HD 1080p video recording too.
