We have been hearing rumors since long about Samsung’s next flagships from the Note series. Recently a rumored said Samsung would skip Note 6 and jump directly to Note 7 / Note 7 Edge to streamline the branding with Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. But there have been no rumors about the announcement date. Finally, we now have one.
A leaked image of Galaxy Unpacked 2016 has been surfaced the web (via sammobile) that shows the date August 2nd, 2016. It says “The next edge is just around the corner” with hash tag #TheNextGalaxy. Also the graphic design made on the banner seems like number 7, which again indicates that we are going to see Galaxy Note 7 and Edge, not the Note 6.
Talking about the Edge, another teaser image leaked yesterday almost confirms the Dual Edge screen in Galaxy Note 7. The teaser also reads ‘Write on the edge of something great.’
