After Redmi 3 and Redmi 3s, Xiaomi today announced yet another variant called ‘Redmi 3X‘. It is just a renamed variant of Redmi 3s launched for local operator China Unicom with exactly the same specifications. The phone is priced at 899 yuan, i.e. $135 or Rs. 9150 approximately. At the same price for other telecom, users can get the higher variant (3G RAM) of Redmi 3s.
As said, it has exactly the same specifications as 3s, the new Xiaomi Redmi 3X features the same 5 inch HD IPS display offering 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and comes out of the box running MIUI 7. The phone is powered with Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 ( 4 x 1.2 GHz Cortex A53 + 4 x 1.5 GHz Cortex A53) 64-bit processor accompanied by 2GB LPDDR3 RAM and Adreno 505 GPU. As per storage we get 32GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 128GB using microSD card. It also comes with Fingerprint Scanner for better security of the device and information.
Xiaomi Redmi 3X comes with Hybrid Dual SIM slots supporting Micro + nano sim cards and also lets you use MicroSD card in second slot. In the camera department, we get a 12 Megapixel primary shooter with with PDAF, LED Flash and f/2.0 aperture at rear facing capable to record 1080p Full HD video recording. While on the front facing we have a 5 Megapixel Selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video calling in Full HD 1080p. As per connectivity, the phone supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS + GLONASS. Xiaomi has powered the phone with 4100mAh battery.
