HP has launched a set of tablets back in September. It has introduced the HP slate 7 extreme, slate 8 pro. Now it has launched two more tablets in its slate series namely – slate 7 plus and slate 10 HD. The slate 7 plus has a 7inch 1280×800 pixels display. This tablet is processed by 1.3GHz quad core NVIDIA tegra 3 processor. it runs on the android 4.2 jelly bean OS. Performance and looks of this tablet is great. It has 1GB RAM and 8 GB internal memory. HP has also provided a memory card slot that is expandable up to 32GB.
The rear part of the tablet has a 5MP camera. Outdoor photos look quite decent. It also encompasses a front 0.3 MP camera that would enable video chatting. You can connect using Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0.The tablet is backed up by 4000mAh battery which gives good backup to it. HP Slate 7 plus is available in silver colour at a price of $149.99 (approx. Rs.9500) Currently this tablet is available in US only. The date of its global launch is unknown.
