Samsung has launched a new mid ranged 4G LTE smartphone named “Samsung Galaxy Wide” with model number SM-G600S in Korea. It is priced at 319,000 Korean Won, that is approximately $275 or Rs. 18,550. At this specification and the price range, Galaxy Wide seems pretty costlier. Better alternative of this could be the Galaxy On7. The new Galaxy Wide comes out of the box running Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and supports Dual SIM connectivity.
It sports a 5.5 inch HD display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. Samsung has powered the phone with 1.2 GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor paired up with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 306 from which we can expect good performance and smoother multitasking. The phone has 8GB internal storage memory and supports up to 128GB microSD card for expansion.
As per photography, Samsung Galaxy Wide carries a 13 Megapixel primary shooter with LED flash and f/2.1 aperture supporting up to Full HD 1080p video recording. There is also a 5 Megapixel front facing camera with f/2.2 aperture for Selfie fans. It is a 4G LTE phone also supporting 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS/ GLONASS. Samsung has backed up the phone with 3000mAh battery.
