Vivo APEX 2019 is a concept phone from the company with bezel-less curved screen. Recently Vivo announced the phone officially in China. It is one of its kind phone so far from the company having no buttons or ports or speaker grills, similar to Meizu Zero. Note that Vivo APEX concept phones were the first one to bring the notch less phones in 2018. They have started all the hype.
The phone doesn’t have traditional 3.5mm audio jack, it replaces physical buttons with pressure sensitive power buttons. The Vivo Apex doesn’t have the USB port rather it has magnetic port to transfer data and for charging. The magnetic port that connects to the bottom part of the back cover for charging and data transfer. An always-on display highlights the three touch-sensitive buttons.
There is this another new concept applied on the phone called full screen sound technology. The concept can be illustrated as the phones screen was used as a speaker and earpiece is used for calls. The display 6.39-inch AMOLED display and is powered by the latest Snapdragon 855. It has provided the support for 5G via eSIM, uses liquid-cooled plate, packs 12GB RAM and whopping 256GB or 512GB of storage.
The phone has better processing feature, better power efficiency, runs faster, offers better graphics, delivers advanced AI performance and so much more. It uses the concept of MoB packaging which effectively reduce the space occupied by internal components. Supports dual sim by which allows you to use two services without the need to carry two mobiles at the same time.
The phone is equipped with in-display fingerprint scanner which includes the entire screen. This technology helps you to unlock your device by putting the finger on any part of the screen. It also supports the two fingers unlocking.
And the things about which most the buyers are very particular about is camera. So, the phone is equipped with 12MP + 13MP dual rear cameras and it does not have any front camera. Dual camera is useful in enhancing certain effects like blur, zoom and wide-angle photos.When it comes to adding splash of colors to your phone, a lot of people become very choosy. So Vivo APEX is introduced in three colors for the consumers White, Gray and Black colors.
It is like to be the Next gen NEX phone which might be displayed at MWC 2019 in March. With this Vivo might launch one of its most impressive flagships and who knows what the phone brings next with it. The price at which Vivo might launch APEX 2019 is expected to be INR 43,999.
