Selena Gomez has been through a lot, things so tough that people could not even imagine, but according to the Interview Magazine for its Spring 2024 issue, Selena told her friend Amy Schumer that things will be better and she is going to be okay.
Their conversation started off casually, talking about what they had for breakfast that morning, and then they slowly started going into some real talk. Selena spiced up the Interview with some extremely sultry photos, with a very attractive braid hairstyle and tight clothes.
Amy then asked Selena about what gave her courage to share personal problem from her everyday life with the world, to which Gomez answered:
“The way the media has sometimes tried to explain things has made it sound really bad, when in reality there’s nothing wrong with the fact that I needed to go away or that I fell in love. I had to start opening up because people were taking away my narrative and it was killing me.”

The 27-year-old singer feels a need to help people and make them feel better. “I’ve gone through a lot of medical issues, and I know that I can reach people who are going through similarly scary things—an organ transplant, or being on dialysis, or going away for treatment…That’s why I think I’m okay with the magnitude,” she pointed out.
She then revealed why is her new album so special as she told: “I wanted to make sure, especially on this album, that each song meant something to me, that it represented a story that actually happened to me or one that I’m still walking through.”
The next subject of their talk was on Selena’s makeup line, to which she said: “I wanted to start a conversation about how can you make yourself feel great. It’s not necessarily about needing these things to make yourself feel beautiful.
“People of my generation have all this pressure to look a certain way, and I wanted to make a line that took away a bit of that pressure. I use real people in the campaigns. I have 48 shades of foundation and concealer. It’s all very clean and easy. I wanted people to feel safe,” she added.
The young actress and producer is making sure to get better soon, not just herself, but people in general. If someone needs help, she is there to support and educate them about the illnesses that she had or still has, and encourage others to do so.
