Samsung has announced the world’s first office printers which are powered by Android under the MultiXpress series. At IFA Samsung has announced 10 new Android based MFP models designed for businesses so they can do their work with speedy document processing. With the announcement of these Android powered printers Samsung has taken Android beyond smartphones.
The important feature of this MFPs are they have built-in Samsung Smart UX center which enable it to operate independently without connecting it to a PC or Laptop. The printer has 10.1 inch full touchscreen panel so the users can search from web browsers and can take the print of emails, images or any other type of content. The users can also preview the documents on the screen so the user can edit as well and comes with annotating capabilities.
Samsung Smart MultiXpress Series MFP are grouped in four categories which includes X4300 series of A4 color MFPs, K4350 series of A3 Monochrome MFPs, M5370 series of A4 Monochrome MFPs and M4580 series of A4 Monochrome MFPs in which only X4300 series supports color printing.
The Print Division General Manager of Samsung Electronics Mark Ash said. “Samsung’s concept printers are designed to be simple, mobile and quick to use. We developed our design concept printers to apply the mobile printing trend in the home and office and the increasing trend for eco-friendly technology. We are excited to be able to deliver a new printing experience for small businesses and home offices alike.”
These MultiXpress Series are also compatible with Samsung XOA printing platform & Samsung cloud print which enable users to print document remotely via smartphones and also enabled with NFC. The prices and availability of the printer is not yet disclosed by the company.
