DxO the France based software company unveiled an interesting camera for iPhone name DxO One that can help you capture DSLR type pictures from your iPhone. It is 20.2 megapixel compact camera which can be attached to an iPhone is so small that it may easily fit in your pocket. DxO claims that DxO One comes with the world’s smallest sensor world’s, being only 1 inch in size. The company also claimed that the DxO One will click pictures of DSLR quality.
Talking about its features it is a 20.2 megapixel sharp shooter with 1-inch CMOS BSI sensor which has the ability to click high quality images in low light areas as well and an f/1.8 lens, the device weighs 108 grams and is 2.65 inch tall. The DxO One is made up of high-quality aluminum and can rotate up to 60 degrees. You can record videos at 720p or HD at 1080p. On the back is a small, touch-enabled menu screen for swiping between modes, and on the top is a two-stage shutter button. The device doesn’t use Bluetooth or Wi-Fi which makes the process very fast and you can easily share your pics on social networks.
The camera device will connect on the Lightning port of iPhone. On the back part of the device there is a touch supported screen which only allows you to swipe between different modes ( Manual, Shutter Aperture Priority and more) you can’t click pictures directly from camera you need to connect it to your iPhone. The IPhone basically acts as a channel to view pics and interface which also allows you to click pictures from the phone as well. The company provides an application for iPhone for the DxO One camera.

The camera can click images in .JPG, DNG and videos in .DxO (SuperRAW), .MOV (H.264) formats. You can transfer RAW files to DxO software on your PC. You get DxO Filmpack and limited Elite Ediion of DxO OpticsPro free of cost with the order of DxO One.
The company will ship DxO One in September and you can pre-order it at price of $599. There has been no mention whether it will be available for Indian markets.
