Samsung today officially launched the new “Galaxy J2“G LTE smartphone in India for Rs. 8,490/- The phone will go on sale online as well as in retail starting from September 21st in three color choices, i.e. Black, White and Gold.
Samsung Galaxy J2 comes out of the box with Android 5.1 Lollipop OS featuring a 4.7 inch qHD Super AMOLED display with 960 x 540 Pixels resolution. It supports Dual Micro SIMs. The phone is powered up with 1.3 GHz quad-core Exynos 3475 processor accompanied by 1GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage memory. We can expand the memory upto 128GB using MicroSD Card.
The Galaxy J2 offers us a 5 Megapixel rear camera with Auto focus, LED Flash and f/2.2 aperture, while the front facing camera comes with 2 Megapixel having f/2.4 aperture. We can record upto 720p HD video using the front camera. The device is running on 2000mAh battery and supports connectivity options including 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS.
Samsung Galaxy J2 is powered up with the new Opera Max, i.e. Ultra Data Saving mode. Using this Opera Max feature we can allow or block any individual apps data uses mobile data. This is obviously enhanced data saving technology by using which we can save upto 50% data which also improves the performance by 11% because it keeps the phone RAM free.
