Motorola DROID Turbo 2 is now official at a media event as scheduled. This is the first ever smartphone with Shatterproof display and also offers upto 48 hours of battery backup in mixed use. Motorola also launched DROID Maxx 2 at this event.
The new DROID Turbo 2 will be available from October 29th in USA via Verizon in four different color choices that includes Grey Ballistic Nylon, White Soft Grip, Black Soft Grip and Black Pebbled colors. All these are having leather material rear cover. Motorola also allows you to customize the phone as per your preference using Moto Maker. They are offering over 1000 ways to design the phone which also has options to select materials that includes ballistic nylon to genuine Horween pebbled leather.
User can get Droid Turbo 2 at the price of $26 per month with contract for 24 months or $624 off contract for 32GB variant and $720 off contract for 64GB variants. Talking about the phone, Motorola Droid Turbo 2 comes out of the box running Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system which will surely get Android 6.0 Marshmallow update very soon. It sports a 5.4 inch Quad HD AMOLED display with Moto Shattershield protection. The screen offers 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution at 540 ppi pixel density bringing you amazing output.
Motorola has powered the Droid Turbo 2 with 2.0 GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 810 processor paired up with 3GB LPDDR4 RAM and Adreno 430 GPU that not only makes the phone a beast in performance but also offers you amazing HD Gaming experience. As said above, the device comes in two storage variants, i.e. 32GB and 64GB internal storage memory, both can be further expanded upto 2TB using microSD card.
Just like other specifications, Motorola Droid Turbo 2 also seems too good in camera department. It comes with 21 Megapixel primary camera having dual-tone LED flash and f/2.0 aperture allowing you to capture stunning pictures as well as 4K video recording. While for Selfie fans, it carries a 5 Megapixel front-facing shooter with 87-degree wide-angle lens, LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture and 1.4um pixel. One of the best Camera for selfies. The Droid Turbo 2 supports all major connectivity options including 4G LTE / 3G, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac 2.4 GHz + 5 GHz with MIMO, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS, GLONASS and NFC.

Motorola claims that the new Droid Turbo 2 will offer battery backup upto 48 hours in mixed use, that is 2 days. Sounds great. In order to boost the sales, Motorola is also offering exchange offer for Droid Turbo 2 with $300 off. Surprisingly, they also accept smartphones with cracked displays under this exchange offer.
