There have been many rumors creating confusions whether Galaxy S5 will receive Marshmallow update or not. Recently a leaked Marshmallow Roadmap confirmed the update for S5 but without any expected date. And last week, Samsung rolled out Marshmallow Beta update for few registered Galaxy S6 users in UK.
Now, surprisingly a Galaxy S5 user has received Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update yesterday. This was surely a mistakenly pushed update by Samsung, just like a Galaxy Note 5 user got the update last month. Whatever, but this actually confirms that Marshmallow is in Beta phase for Galaxy S5 also and we may expect it anytime soon in the near future.
