Huawei has launched a new high end smartphone called ‘Honor Note 8‘ in China today. Since it is a note series, it is really huge in size with 6.6 inch display but just 7.18mm thick and packed inside a metal unibody design. It will be available in Gray, Silver and Gold color choices from August 9, however, it is up for pre-order from today itself via vmall and jd.com. As per price, Honor Note 8 comes in three different storage variants, that also makes the difference in prices. Take a look:
- 32GB Storage : 2299 Yuan or $345 or Rs. 23,100 approximately
- 64GB Storage : 2499 Yuan or $375 or Rs. 25,100 approximately
- 128GB Storage : 2799 Yuan or $420 or Rs. 28,100 approximately
Talking about specifications, the new Honor Note 8 sports a huge 6.6 inch Quad HD (2K) 2.5D curved glass display with up to 105% NTSC color gamut and 70,000: 1 high contrast. It is powered up by Octa-Core Kirin 955 (4x 2.5GHz A72, A53 4 x 1.8 GHz) processor, 4GB RAM and Mali T880-MP4 GPU making it a beast in performance. As said, the phone comes in 32GB / 64GB / 128GB internal storage variant. All these variants can be expanded up to 128GB with microSD card.
The phone supports Dual nano Sims in Hybrid Slot and is running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based EMUI 4.1. It also has Fingerprint sensor at rear facing for better security of the device. With Honor Note 8 we also get a 13 Megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, OIS and f/2.0 aperture, along with an 8 Megapixel front facing shooter for Selfie fans. It is a 4G VoLTE phone also supporting 3G, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C. Huawei is running the phone on 4500mAh battery with fast charging.
