Sony has finally confirmed the Launch Date of its new ‘PlayStation 4 Neo’ gaming console. They have sent out the invitation mentioned September 7th at PlayStation Theater in New York, the data and place of launch event.
Clearly Sony is launching PlayStation 4 Neo to compete with Microsoft’s Xbox One S which was launched in June with higher graphics and improved specifications. The new PS4 Neo comes with Ultra HD 4K support, faster processor and improved Graphics.
Unlike Xbox One S, the PS4 Neo will be priced higher compared to current PlayStation 4 model. They also confirmed to continue PS4 model sale even after launching Neo. Company’s Andrew House said “We will be selling both [versions] through the life cycle. All games will support the standard PS4 and we anticipate all or a very large majority of games will also support the high-end PS4”.
