Sony today introduced a new high end smartphone named ‘Xperia A4’ which will go on sale next month, mid June. Running on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS, it sports a 4.6 inch Triluminos Display with X-Reality for Mobiles offering 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. The device is powered with 2.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 (MSM8974AC) processor accompanied by 2GB of RAM making it quiet better in performance and multitasking. We get 16GB internal storage memory which can be expanded upto 128 GB using microSD card.
The new Sony Xperia A4 (SO-04G) comes with 20.7 Megapixel rear camera powered with Exmos RS sensor, HDR photos & videos capable to record upto Full HD 1080p video recording. We also get a 2.2 Megapixel front-facing camera that supports upto 720p video recordings. Just like most of the high end Xperia smartphones, it is also IPX5,8 / IP6X rating for dust and water resistance device. As per connectivity, the phone supports Xi LTE, WiFi 820.11 a/b/g/n/ac , Bluetooth 4.0 with APT-X, GPS/ GLONASS, MHL and NFC. It is running on 2600mAh battery with STAMINA mode.
