Samsung : Android Jelly Bean
Since the Google has good relations with the Samsung, they have declared that two of the new Samsung smart phone will have an OTA update to 4.1 very soon. Actually Samsung is presently testing Jelly Bean on the Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S2 and is predicted to roll the update out to users in August or September. Jelly Bean, is in progress with Galaxy Nexus HSPA+ and Nexus S devices. According to the report issued by the company, Samsung will declare which other devices will be getting Jelly Bean soon.
Motorola : Android Jelly Bean
Some smart phones launched by Motorola like Motosmart, Motoluxe, Razr, Razr Maxx will have Android 4.0 update and all those phones can be updated to Android Jelly Bean within a month. As said above, only Motorola Xoom will get updated with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
Sony : Android Jelly Bean
Smart phones like Xperia P, Xperia U, Acro HD, Xperia S have been released in this year by Sony. But major of these phones are having OS Android 2.3 Gingerbread which can be updated to Android 4.0 ICS. All the smart phones which are launched by Sony in this year and the devices with adequate hardware to run Android 4.0 will be updated with Jelly Bean.
LG : Android Jelly Bean
LG will remain to support the latest android platforms, through LG devices however, currently an exact date is not yet confirmed. As the smart phones by LG launched in the year 2012 are not upgraded to ICS, so it will definitely take much time span for Android 4.1 Jelly update. Some phones like LG Prada 3.0, LG Optimus 3D, Optimus Vu, Optimus 2X, Optimus 4X HD, LG Optimus L7 will have Android 4.1 Jelly Bean but exact time cannot be said. Some sources at LG state us the applicable phones in the range will be updated to Jelly Bean by Q1 in 2013, with the roll out beginning in Q4.
HTC : Android Jelly Bean
HTC has proclaimed they will be bringing Jelly Bean to at least three of its models, due to which users can be attracted towards it. The plans are to upgrade HTC One X, HTC One XL and HTC One S to Jelly Bean but the dates have not been declared.
Asus : Android Jelly Bean
Asus has confirmed that they will be bringing the Android 4.1 update to its Transformer Pad 300, Transformer Pad Infinity and Transformer Prime tablets very soon. So Asus users can also upgrade to Jelly Bean in coming months and can get in touch with Android.
Some other models like Acer, Toshiba, ZTE, Intel have declared to upgrade their particular Phones and tablets with Android Jelly Bean. In general, all the high-end smart phones released in 2012 by all the companies will be updated to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Also devices having the dual core, quad core processor will also be adequate to run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
