Acer has announced the new Acer Iconia W4 tablet in India. Iconia W4, the successor of W3, is a windows based tablet. It runs on the latest Windows 8.1 OS. The tablet has 8inch 800×1280 pixels IPS display. It features a zero air gap touch and multi touch capacity. The Iconia W4 is powered by 1.8 GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3740 Bay Trail T processor with integrated Intel HD Graphics. The graphics is incredible and viewing experience would be a treat. The processing speed is very fast and performance is great. It features Microsoft office home and student 2013.
The tablet features a 5MP camera with auto focus and supports video recording at 1080p. It also packs a 2MP full HD front facing camera. Connectivity through Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, micro HDMI, and microUSB is possible on this tablet. It is supported by 2GB LPDDR3 RAM to enhance its processing and storing capacity and is available in two variants, one with internal memory 32GB and other with 64GB. Acer has beautifully integrated all the features together in this tablet.
The battery life is good with up to 10hrs of web browsing and supports up to 8hrs of video playback. Acer Iconia W4 with 32GB would cost your around Rs.24,999 and the 64GB would cost you nearly Rs.26,999. The iconia W4 would go on sale soon in digital retails across the country and would be available with the online retailers like flipkart too.
