After being in rumors and leaks for so long, finally Samsung has launched two new smartphones in its C series, called Galaxy C5 and its better variant Galaxy C7. Priced at 2199 yuan, i.e. $335 or Rs. 22,500 approximately for 32GB variant and 2399 yuan, i.e. $365 or Rs. 24,500 approx for 64GB variant, the new Samsung Galaxy C5 will be available for sale starting from June 17th. Coming to the specifications part, it sports an amazing 5.2 inch Full HD Super AMOLED display offering 1920×1080 pixels resolution. Samsung has also added Fingerprint sensor in the physical home button at front for extra security of the device and information stored on the same.
The new Galaxy C5 comes out of the box running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system, it supports Hybrid Dual SIM Nano Sim cards, meaning, you can also use MicroSD card in the second slot. Samsung has powered the phone with Octa-Core Snapdragon 617 (4 x 1.5GHz + 4 x 1.2GHz) processor which is further paired up with massive 4GB of RAM and Adreno 405 GPU making the phone good enough in performance as well as multitasking. As per storage, the phone comes in two variants as we saw above the difference in prices. It has onboard 32GB and 64GB storage memory and supports MicroSD card up to 128GB for expansion.
Samsung Galaxy C5 also seems great in camera department. It has a 16 Megapixel primary shooter with dual-tone LED flash and f/1.9 aperture at rear facing, while at the front we have an 8 Megapixel Selfie shooter with f/1.9 aperture.
