Gionee today revealed the new Gionee S6 Pro, a high end smartphone priced at 1999 yuan, i.e. $300 or Rs. 20350 approximately. It is also the successor of earlier launched Gionee S6 with upgraded hardware and software. The new S6 Pro comes out of the box with Android 6.0 Marshmallow based Amigo OS 3.2 and supports Hybrid Dual SIM (micro + nano / microSD) slots. It also has a Fingerprint sensor integrated with the physical home button adding extra security to the phone and data and can unlock the device in just 0.1 seconds.
The software also has a feature that launches a shortcut bar when you swipe the home button. Gionee S6 Pro features a 5.5 inch Full HD IPS 2.5D curved glass display offering 1920× 1080 pixels resolution and is powered with 1.8 GHz Octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 (MT6755M) processor, It is further accompanied by Mali T860MP2 GPU and massive 4GB LPDDR3 RAM making the phone good enough for multitasking and performance. We don’t even need to worry about the storage memory because the device has built-in 64GB storage and can be expanded further up to 128GB microSD card.
The phone also seems very good in camera department carrying a 13 Megapixel primary shooter with LED flash and PDAF that focuses in the subject in just 0.1 seconds.
