Almost after a year of launching Honor 4A, Huawei today launched its successor named Huawei Honor 5A. Starting at the price of 699 yuan, that is $105 or Rs. 7150 approximately for the standard version, the phone goes up to 799 yuan which is approximately $120 or Rs. 8,150 for China Unicom, China Telecom and others. It features a 5.5 inch HD IPS display offering 178-degree viewing angle, 1000:1 contrast ratio and 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. It is further protected with tempered glass for better durability.
As per processing power, Huawei comes in two different variants as we saw the price change above. First is powered with 1.2 GHz Octa-Core Kirin 620 processor paired up with Mali 450 GP, and the other is powered by Snapdragon 617 Octa-Core (4 x 1.5GHz + 4 x 1.2GHz) processor accompanied by Adreno 405 GPU. Both these variants are running with 2GB of RAM and carries 16GB internal storage memory which can be expanded up to 128GB using microSD card.
Honor 5A is a Dual SIM smartphone running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based Emotion UI 4.1. For photography fans, it carries a 13 Megapixel primary shooter with LED Flash, Sony/OmniVision sensor, f/2.0 aperture and 28mm wide-angle lens allowing you to catpure amazing vibrant pictures.
