Reliance launched ‘Lyf Water 6’, a new 4G VoLTE smartphone under its Water lineup along with Lyf Water 4. Priced at Rs. 8999, the Water 6 is very much similar to Water 4 in specifications and design. In fact the only difference between phone the both is just about the internal storage, rest all remains exactly the same.
The new Lyf Water 6 is a Dual SIM phone running on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and sports a 5 inch IPS display with ASAHI Dragontrail glass protection. It offers 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. The phone is powered with the same 1.2 GHz Quad-Core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor as in Water 4, coupled up with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 306 GPU. With such processing unite, you can surely expect pretty good performance and smoother multitasking.
While the Water 4 comes with 16GB internal memory, being superior the Water 6 has 32GB internal storage memory. There doesn’t seems to be expandable slot provided for storage expansion. The phone carries same 13 Megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and a 5 Megapixel front-facing camera for video calling and of course for Selfies. In terms of connectivity Lyf Water 6 supports 4G VoLTE with other basic connectivity options such as 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
