Samsung recently announced their new Galaxy A series smartphones, the Galaxy A5 and A3 both of them have mid-ranged specs and metal unibody and their previous model design is used for making it thinner so these devices are the slimmest smartphones under Samsung’s flagship models. A5 sports a 5.0 inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1280p and a pixel density of 294ppi.
It has 13.0MP rear camera with LED flash and functions like Geo-tagging, auto-focus, Touch focus, face detection, Panorama are built-in with the camera app and video recording at 1080p@30fps is also possible and also there is a 5.0 MP camera on the front for selfies.
Galaxy A5 runs on Android OS v4.4 (KitKat). It has a Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon 410 SoC which is running at a clockspeed of 1.2 GHz with Adreno 306 GPU. It also comes with a 16GB of internal storage and microSD card slot which can be further expanded upto 64GB (single SIM version) and has 2GB of RAM. Galaxy A5 has the connectivity option of 4G LTE / 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS/ GLONASS and NFC which will be available for LTE version .
