Reliance JioGigaFiber is an optical-fiber based Fixed broadband service and is officially known as JIOFIBER. As promised at the AGM of the company, the plans have gone commercial from today i.e September 5, 2019, when Jio turns three.
The chairman of the Reliance industry Mukesh Ambani says, “Over the past year, we have built significant momentum in our JIOFIBER rollout and we are confident that we will complete our network rollout within the next 12 months.”

# As per the terms and conditions, the basic JIOFIBER Plan will offer the speed of 100 Mbps and the most expensive plans will offer the highest speed up to 1 Gbps. According to the company, this will “disproportionately improve the quality of fixed-line data in India”.
# Customers will enjoy free voice calls from Jio Landline to any operator in India.
# Very low fixed-line cost for International calling. There is, in fact, an unlimited International calling pack at just Rs. 500 per month.
# JIOFIBER offers several subscriptions of the leading premium OTT applications. The premium JIOFIBER customers can watch the movies from their homes on the same day these movies are released using the service known as JIO FIRST-DAY-FIRST-SHOW. This service will come into action anytime in 2024.
# Jio users will enjoy JIO POSTPAID PLUS plans which includes numerous services like – priority SIM-setup service at home, seamless data and voice connectivity across all devices at home and outside, unprecedented Family plans, cheap International roaming, phone upgrades at preferential rates, and smart home solutions on your cellphone.
# The Annual Jio Forever Plan will provide Free FullHD TV /Home PC for the customers and a free 4K set-top-box. It is known as Jio Welcome Offer.
