Yes, Philips has entered the smartphone market by introducing their three smartphones viz Philips S308, W3500 and W6610 back in May. At a launch event, Philips revealed the launch of Philips I928 soon. On Philips India website, two new phones have been listed, the Philips I928 and S388.
Philips I928 comes with Android 4.2 Jellybean OS preinstalled. It features a 6 inch Full HD curved 2.5D glass screen at the resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels which gives you a clear and crisp display. For performance, it is powered by Octa-core processor which is quite a powerful processor. There is also a 13.0 Megapixel camera with LED Flash and also features f/2.0 aperture. Philips S388 is powered by the famous MediaTek MT6582 processor which is running at 1.3 GHz processor. There is a 5.0 Megapixel camera with LED Flash and also has a VGA front facing Camera.
