In order to compete with other Phablets in the market Spice today launched a powerful 5-inch Phablet named as “Coolpad Mi-515”. This is the first smartphone from the manufacturer under their new series of smartphones “Coolpad”. The device features a large 5 inch qHD capacitive touch screen display with IPS Pane; offering 960 × 540 pixels resolution. The dual sim phablet is running on Android 4.1 JellyBean operating system, however there is no announcement made from the manufacturer whether it will get Android 4.2 update or not.
The new Coolpad Mi-515 is powered with 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM making the device quiet powerful to carry out multitasking comfortably and to offer smooth and lag free performance. Weighing just 161 grams the device comes with 5 Megapixel rear camera with Auto Focus and LED Flash capable to capture high quality images and video recording. There is also a 0.3 Megapixel front facing camera for making video calls and conferencing. As per connectivity Coolpad supports all standard connectivity options like G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS / aGPS and Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP.
