Oppo today introduced two new powerful smartphones in their R series named as Oppo R7 and Oppo R7 Plus. Both these devices will start shipping from next month, i.e. June 2015 in two color choices including Gold and Silver. As per the price, Oppo R7 will be priced at 2499 CYN that comes to approximately $403 or Rs. 25,680/- INR. While on the other hand, Oppo R7 Plus will come with price tag of 2999 CYN that is $483 or Rs. 30,810/- INR approximately.
Both these phones will have 2.5D Arc Edge screen and metal body. OppoR7 and OppoR7 Plus are powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with Adreno 405 GPU for the international variant. The China Unicom variant of the Oppo R7 is powered by a 1.7 GHz Octa-core MediaTek MT6752 Processor and the Oppo R7 Plus’s China Unicom variant has a MediaTek MT6795 Octa-Core SoC. These have 4G LTE connectivity Bands 1/3/5/7/8/TD-40 and dual SIM capabilities that lets you use the second nano SIM slot as a microSD slot when required and the whole thing weighs only 148 grams.
OppoR7 has 5.2-inch (1080 x 1920 pixels) Full HD AMOLED display and OppoR7 plus has6-inch (1080 x 1920 pixels) Full HD AMOLED display. Oppo R7 comes out of the box with Color OS 2.1 based on Android 4.4 Kitkat os while the one used in R7 Plus is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. Talking about the cameras, Oppo is already well know for it. Oppo R7 comes with 13 Megapixel rear camera having LED Flash, Sony IMX214 sensor and f/2.2 aperture, while R7 Plus sports 13 Megapixel camera with dual LED Flash, laser auto focus, Sony IMX214 sensor and f/2.2 aperture. Front facing shooters of both devices are same, an 8 Megapixel with f/2.4 aperture.
With such powerful processors, both R7 and R7 Plus are running on 3GB of RAM and comes with 16GB built-in storage which can be further expanded further using MicroSD Card.
