Seems like Chinese brand Innos is not one of those manufacturers who are focusing on integrating new and innovative features in terms of performance but ignore the battery life which is also an important factor today for Smartphones. While Samsung and Apple devices feature a Single battery, Innos has brought a new approach which will effectively improve battery life of Smart phones. The new Innos D6000 has total battery capacity of 6000mAh using a unique Double cell structure technology.
This Double cell structure technology means one being an internal battery and another being an external battery. The internal battery carries capacity of 2480mAh while the external battery carries capacity of 3520mAh .This new Technique allows user to Charge both the batteries simultaneously. It also allows users to Swap external battery without shutting down the phone because internal battery will power the phone. Innos assures users that this new battery will allow user to enjoy 3-5 days of heavy use and more than 60 days of standby time.
As far as specs are concerned innos D6000 has 5.2-inch 1080p resolution ,1.8GHz octa-core processor ,3 GB of RAM, 32GB of storage (not clear if it expandable) and supports 4G LTE. It has 16MP rear camera and 5MP front shooter. The phone will be running on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS out of box. It is a dual sim phone supporting 4G connectivity with any of the sim and also has USB 3.1 Type-C connection port. It has dimension of 144 × 72.2 × 11.9.
Innos will launch D6000 in china in early June at cost of 1799 yuan, that is approximately $290 or Rs. 18456/- INR. There will also be a second variant of D6000 which would be running on Mediatek socket (D6000m) coupled up with 2GB of RAM. This version is said to cost less than 1000 Yuan or $161.
Currently there are no words for international release and pricing. But we are quite sure that this 6000mAh will attract consumers all over the world. We will keep you updated with all news regarding this.
