As September is coming near, in the month when Apple launch their new inventions, Apple seems to be working on the next generation sequels of their last year’s release. This time, Apple is said to be working on internal upgradations rather than an external looks.
According to reports, these devices will be known as iPhone 6S and 6S Plus. However, there is a suspense of what the new iPhone will be called, they will be most probably called iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus but there are also rumors that it the new phones will be named iPhone 7, based on the major changes that are being implemented for their new device. However it is too early to predict their names. The phones will come in two sizes smaller (4.7 inches) and bigger (5.5 inches) size, just like last year’s iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.
Let’s take a look at what these new iPhones are going to bring along with new iOS 9:
Force Touch Technology:
The Apple iPhone 6S will feature the force touch technology that has been previously implemented Apple’s latest MacBook and the Apple. The Force Touch hardware will monitor the contact area where a finger is pressed to detect the amount of pressure applied.
Users will be able to perform a number of functions like dropping pins in Apple Maps, handle scrolling in iOS media player, adding new events to Calendar and quickly looking up for definitions of any word.
iPhone 6S will also come with haptic feedback, which will allow the user to perform a number of additional functions.
Better Camera:
Apple is all set to take a giant leap in the camera section, reports say that the iPhone 6S is all set to come with a 12 megapixel camera, with a 2 lens system and may also come with a RGBW sensor which will allow users to take good quality images in low light areas.
Exclusively New Rose Gold Finish:
The iPhone 6S will come with a new color option, Rose Gold according to reports, but it is not sure whether the new alternative will be real gold or just a resemblance to gold. Users will now have an additional option along with gold, silver and space grey.
A9 Chip With 2Gb Ram:
Apple and Samsung are working together on a A9 processor chip for the iPhone 6S. The chip will be made using 14nm FinFet technology which is said to provide 20% more power and consume 35% less energy.
Also the iPhone 6S will come with a 2GB of RAM which is an exciting update from Apple. The 2GB RAM will consume very less power and also double the bandwidth of the device.
Enhanced Aluminum Body To Prevent Bendgate:
Apple surely doesn’t want to do the same mistake(the Bendgate Scandal) that haunted the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus for a long time after the phone’s release. Apple has ensured nothing of that sort will happen this time by making the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus of extra strength aluminum alloy which has been used in the Apple watch.
Better Touch ID:
Apple Touch ID will be upgraded on the iPhone 6S. That Touch ID sensor for 6S could identify the user’s fingerprint or even identify multiple fingers at once or even the whole palm on the display to improve security. The device will come with an improved Touch ID module which will reduce errors in reading which will improve the Apple Pay experience.
Release Date:
Apple have always launched their new Smartphone’s in September. This time also Apple is most likely to launch iPhone 6S in September. But some reports say that Apple may have the new iPhone 6S ready before time and may launch it in August.
