Xiaomi, the leading Chinese smartphone manufacturer has launched a new Yi camera under its amazing Yi cameras series. This time the camera is developed for clicking amazing photographs in low light as well as in the night. The new Yi Camera Night edition comes with a 940mm infrared camera sensor which can click high quality pictures up to 5 meters at night.
The Yi Camera Night Edition has features, specs and design similar to the original Yi camera. The night edition camera comes with a 16-megapixel Sony Exmor R CMOS sensor along with f/2.8 which will shoot 1080p videos at 60 frames per second. The camera doesn’t come with a flash, so no one else will be disturbed with the flashy light directly on their eyes at night. The device comes with a microSD slot for memory expansion and memory can be expanded up to 32GB.
So basically you can click pictures, shoot videos. Also it comes with an in-built Bluetooth and Wi-Fi support which allows you to browse your photos and videos. The camera has its own app which has to be installed in Android devices, it allows you to share, edit and perform many other features.
It is priced at CNY 149(USS 25/ INR 1500) more than its original variant which was priced at CNY 129($ 21). It is available only in China currently. The camera was available on flash sale on 4th June where the piece was out of stock in seconds and will be next available on 9th June at the Xiaomi’s China website. There has been no official announcement about the release of this camera in India.
